The cube shape is very simple, but the natural pattern of the black walnut wood is very complex and eye catching. You can explore the natural texture of the tree from its core to its bark. We use the highest quality finish on all of our products. On the cubes we use a natural oil/wax finish that is both child and food safe. Also, rather than forming an additional layer on top of the wood, this finish is absorbed into the wood and creating emphasis on the natural wood tones.
