Rugs in jute and wool, chosen for texture rather than pattern. Most of what is here is one of two fibres, and they behave differently underfoot. Jute is a plant fibre — coarse, dry and pale. It brings texture to a floor without adding colour, and it suits a room you want to feel grounded rather than soft. Wool is warmer, holds its pile far longer, and forgives a hallway or a room that gets walked through daily. Many of these are hand-tufted or flatwoven, and finished with a plain tassel edge instead of a border — the join left visible rather than hidden. Colours stay where the rest of the store stays: ivory, taupe, grey, undyed natural.

Each rug lists its exact size, pile height, construction (hand-knotted, hand-loomed, machine-made or braided) and the fibre, so you know what it will feel like and how it will wear. Natural jute and wool are described with their real colour variation.

Rugs ship rolled; creases from the roll settle within a few days of laying flat.
